Coach Tip: To remind players that Mistakes are OK, institute a "mistake ritual" such as the "no sweat" motion of wiping your brow. Then when an athlete makes a mistake, control your disappointment and use your mistake ritual!
Parent Tip: Let your child know you are ok with him not making a team. You may be disappointed for him if he doesn't make it, but you won't be disappointed in him. This can free him up to give his best effort.

Games start Aug. '13 and conclude in Nov. '13 (U10-U19 will have Regional Playoffs)
Area Playoffs are by invitation of the AYSO Area R Director

Mac users:  Apple released a new version of Safari.  Please go to the Mozilla homepage:  http://www.mozilla.org/  once you get there, click on the Firefox logo, it should bring you to the page where there is the option to download.  It should also automatically recognize the type of computer that you are on, so that the proper version is downloaded.  Once on Firefox you should have no problem registering your child.

Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports is a free, online course available to coaches, parents, and others helping to keep athletes safe from concussion. It features interviews with leading experts, dynamic graphics and interactive exercises, and compelling storytelling to help you recognize a concussion and know how to respond if you think that your athlete might have a concussion. Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league you are ready for the season.
